Position Summary

Involves patient care, educational and research activities.

Primary Position Responsibilities

Employee health and wellness.

Occupational injuries/illness.

Pre-placement examinations.

TB surveillance and immunization program.

DOT and OSHA evaluations.

Drug and alcohol testing.

Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Minimum Education:

Required:

Master's Degree in Nurse Practitioner Program

National Certification as Family Nurse Practitioner, Emergency, Internal Medicine, or Occupational Medicine

Preferred:

None

Minimum Years of Experience (Amount, Type and Variation):

Required:

Residency and or fellowship training completion required by specialty

Preferred:

None

License, Registry or Certification:

Required:

Credentialing and malpractice insurance through Medical staff office required. Holds a current and valid New Jersey Registered Nurse license, along with national certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner, Emergency, Internal Medicine, or Occupational Medicine.

Knowledge, Skills and/or Abilities:

Required:

Vaccine administration, PPD placement

Preferred:

Venipuncture, suturing, UDS, BAT, vision screen, audiometric test, spirometry, EKG, respirator fit test, electronic medical records
