Our outpatient services are expanding, and we’re seeking a supervising psychiatrist to support our psychiatric nurse practitioner (PMHNP) working in the Augusta, GA market.
About the Role
We are looking for a part-time Supervising / Collaborating Psychiatrist to provide clinical oversight and supervision to our PMHNP. The supervising psychiatrist will not be involved in day-to-day patient care, but will review charts, provide clinical guidance, and ensure compliance with state requirements.
Responsibilities
+ Serve as the supervising physician for a Georgia-licensed PMHNP delivering outpatient psychiatric care
+ Review charts and cases in accordance with Georgia’s supervision requirements
+ Be available for consults and case discussion as needed
+ Provide mentorship, clinical feedback, and support to ensure high-quality patient care
+ Maintain compliance with state and DEA regulations
Requirements
+ Board certification in Psychiatry
+ Active, unrestricted Georgia medical license
+ Active DEA license with authority to prescribe across all schedules
+ Prior supervisory experience preferred but not required
+ Comfortable with remote work and digital collaboration tools
Compensation & Benefits
+ Flexible hours and fully remote supervision
